Certified Manager of Community Associations – CMCA


The CMCA is a national certification program designed to recognize the minimum standards of fundamental knowledge required for practice in community association management. The CMCA program provides standards for community association management and gives homeowners and boards confidence in their manager’s knowledge and ability to provide professional service. Managers with this certification have successfully completed the required coursework and passed the CMCA Examination.


Association Management Specialists– AMS


The AMS is the second tier in the career track for professional managers. Building upon the knowledge gained in earning their CMCA by taking and passing at least one of the six 200 level classes and having at least two years of experience.


Professional Community Association Manager – PCAM


The PCAM designation is the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in community association management. Through extensive education requirements, managers with this designation have gained an understanding of all aspects of community association management. To gain this level a manager must pass all 200 level classes, complete an extensive case study, comply with CAI’s Professional Manager Code of Ethics and have at least five years of experience.


Accredited Association Management Company – AAMC


The AAMC credential is awarded to companies that specialize in community association management and are committed to providing unique and diverse services to their clients. Companies that hold this accreditation ensure their staffs have the skills, experience and integrity to help their communities succeed. Requirements of the AAMC are: at least 50 percent of the manager’s must hold designations or certifications, the senior manager must hold a PCAM designation, and the company must have a minimum of 3 years of experience, commits to upholding the highest ethical standards, and is required to meet CAI’s financial management and reporting standards.

President - United Marketing:

Tom Anderson responsible for the day to day operations of United Marketing, Inc. Tom works directly with the property managers to advise them in the carrying out of their duties for the clients. Tom has been in the property management business for over 30 years and has worked in all facets of property management including 6 years in condominium management. Tom holds the Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management and as a licensed Real Estate Broker.


Director - Condominium Management:

Kevin Ducotey is responsible to develop, market, and run Condominium Management for the purpose of managing condominium and homeowner associations. Kevin has a Bachelors degree in Business Finance from Texas Tech University with an emphasis in Real Estate and Accounting.   His first community manager position was in 1989. He holds three professional designations, CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations), AMS (Association Manager Specialist), and a PCAM designation (Professional Community Association Manager).
